2nd Annual Rake the Town completed!

UMKC Alpha Phi Omega Students

105 volunteers made up 15 raking  and 2 bag p/u team who performed 493 hours of volunteering.  
Below is a list of the  8 organization made up the teams.
Eagle Heights Baptist Church School
Kansas City Police Department
Boy Scout Pac 28
UMKC – Alpha Phi Omega
Liberty High School Career Class
Clay & Platte County Volunteer Team
Parkvill Family Nazerene/Platte County CERT Team
Bank Liberty/William Jewell Rotaract Team
These volunteers raked, bagged and clean up 32 Northland Senior’s yards in two days and in many cases went above and beyond the scope of the program to assist those seniors.
NSC has received several calls and also cards from some of the seniors who received these services and they have all expressed how much that appreciate everything done for them and how gracious everyone was.
